Why Choose Us
Remuera is known for quiet, tree-lined streets, and those trees shed sap, leaves and bird droppings onto whatever is parked below. Left on bare paint in summer sun, that fallout can stain and etch the clear coat.
Hermosa, a ceramic coating developed for New Zealand's harsh UV, leaves a slick finish that gives sap and droppings far less to hold on to. Hayden brings it to your driveway or workplace, and the Professional Ceramic Coating is currently $739.
Local NoteEnglish oaks and pōhutukawa are the most common trees on Ōhinerau / Mount Hobson, the 143-metre volcanic cone in Remuera.
Under Remuera's big street trees, sap and droppings are a regular event. A coated surface gives them less to grip, so a gentle wash lifts them before they have time to mark the paint.
Hayden personally works on every vehicle. Nobody junior preps your paint or applies your coating, so the standard you are quoted is the standard you get.
Hermosa is built for New Zealand's strong UV and coastal air, which is exactly what paint in Auckland lives with every day.
Hayden has spent more than five years detailing cars, and every coating is applied with that experience behind it.
Drag The Line
Uncoated paint lets water sheet and cling, carrying dirt with it. A hydrophobic ceramic surface pulls water into tight beads that roll off and take grime with them. Drag across the panel to compare.
